My friend's buddy picked up what he thought was a JDM stock wrx engine. It was definitely a 2 liter turbo, but not the wrx one. He got a bit suspicious when he saw the intercooler sitting on top... Not a regular wrx intercooler, but one that uses a radiator and fluid to cool the air going into the engine. hmmm... My friend came to me, knowing that I have at least a grasp of what engines went in other subarus. It's a friggin legacy engine.

I'm currently trying to talk this guy into going front mount, so i can have his intercooler. what's it worth?

typically around $100-$200. usually around 2 unless you get really fortunate.

that mates to a different turbo with different clocking... it's usually right around $200 for just the actual top mount.

If you can get the turbo, piping and all that, then go for it. You were concerned about yours having a lot of miles on it anyways...

hes putting an STi tranny into his 93 impreza anyway... I might be able to down the road...
