i just found this out. anyone here know this. is it intentional. i always though that the name was referncing the displacement of the engine. huh.

555 is a tobacco company that sponsors the SWRT.
I don't know how intentional this coincidence is, considering that 555 is usually related to the SWRT car, and the 22B is not a rally car.

i am only a little nerdy more of a geek though and all i know is that hexidecimal is another numbering system. like binary uses 1s and 0s and decimal uses 10 digits 0-9. im sure there is a bigger math nerd that could fill us in more.LaureltheQueen wrote:sorry i'm not nerd enough, but...

For those who don't know how you can go past base 10, you use the first 6 letters of the alphabet to count. So instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc you go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F, 10 and so on. It's most commonly used in computers for programming.vrg3 wrote:It's base 16.

Hexadecimal is a base 16 numbering system 0 - F, like Vikash said. There's also Binary Coded Decimal (I dislike BCD), Decimal, Binary and Gray Code. There are others, I think. Remember, when counting to ten to include the zero as a number . Zero, it's not just a place holder anymore.... nevermind.
