1990 legacy base model

Post by HomeSlice »

this guy lives in my town. manual windows, manual mirrors, no a/c, no tail light garnish(body color), grey bumpers and ghetto aftermarket spoiler.

I think you can probably make ours look like that. If you look theres only a few bolts holding that center thing on on the inside of the trunk, so i guess you could fab it that way. I could be wrong.

I stared at the rear view mirror on the car that the pic was taken from for 15 minutes. I'll start the guessing from what we can see that the pic was taken from a late model BMW convertable.

Anyone?

That is a 90 legacy. That was the only year with a trunk like that. I had a friend who had a 90 legacy that looked like that, only without the spoiler and the dents. :)

Judging by that huge fender lip, I'm gonna guess that it's a 1980 AMC Eagle

that was the base crap trim level below the L. No painted bumpers no trim in the rear.

If you want the rear to look that way, just take off the reflective part. very simple.

Actually, its not so easy... There are a whole lot of holes for where the reflector bolts to the inside of the trunk.

Hi guys! I'm back :D

That is the rare Legacy Standard.

Just the fact that the trunk lock has to be different to fit either the reflective piece or no reflective piece would make said reflective piece hard to remove...

And yes the spoiler is backwards

Well, maybe the spoiler is designed to create lift, to reduce the drag caused by the rear wheels. :)
