AWIC eBay Goodies

Picked up a few goodies on eBay for my AWIC install. An aluminum 1 gallon reservoir tank, and a pump.

Here is the pump info
18 gpm at zero head (open flow) and 7.5 gpm at 10 ft head.

the hose and fittings are included

# 10 feet of 1/2" ID heater hose
# 4 - heavy duty SS hose clamps
# 2 - 3/8NPT X 1/2" brass barbs
# 2 - 3/4NPT X 1/2" brass barbs

I see that in the describtion on the Grainger page that is good for "Intermittent Hot Water Circulation".
Do you think it is going to hold up for a AWIC application?
I am looking to add one to my car in the future,so I hope that this pump works out.

I think it will do fine. Though i'm not 100% sure how hot the water in the awic gets.
