I dunno what to title this

Post by THAWA »

But yesterday at work, I got two very nice compliments from two totally different people.

The first guy I seriously thought didn't like me at all. He didn't want to buy anything but I just went through my schpeal like I always do. When i was cashing him out, he started talking to me about how nice I was and how he really liked being helped by me or something. He went on to say that I should open my own shop and he'd support me as he's got resources out here, or something like that.

The other guy, was a cool ass dude. There was a lady infront of him and when I was cashing her out (and hell the hwole time she was there) she was being pretty rude. He said I handled her nicely, and I just had a good attitude and the way I presented myself was really great. He also said something like people will want to hire me wherever I go with that attitude. I was about to ask him if he wanted to hire me, but I didn't know where he worked.

And finally, earlier this girl came in with a 99 2.5 rs. She's a fairly regular customer as I've helped her three times since I've been there. She is gorgeous. Nice rack, nice ass, yummy yum yum! Add to the fact she was driving a scoob, I wanted to jump her right there  Can't wait till she comes back in :D

but anyway, that was my eventful day yesterday!

I get compliments all the time at my work. It's not that hard for people who deal with customer service to grit their teeth and be nice, reguardless of the situation. Good business practice too.

Why aren't you hitting on the Scoob girl? There is absolutely no reason not to, unless he's got a tie-down band. Come up with a good intro line or something, and swoop in.

Speaking of work... I've gotta be at work at 2pm :(. Can't wait for my dinner break tonight.

I just never thought of myself as a good customer service rep, but I guess so. About the girl, I dunno.

You got Subarus in common. Ask a question about something to do with the RS (but not too technical as she's not changing her own oil) and compliment the car or something to start. I've done it, and though it didn't result in a date (engaged - another assmonkey dude in my way) at least I had a nice conversation.

Dude! Grow a sack, fill it with some balls, and talk to her!

If she's within your age range (+10 years/-2 years [backwards for Art]), then go for it!

What have you got to lose? She'll say no, and you won't ever see her again :)

i didnt say i was afraid, I'm just shy. I don't just up and start up conversations, not with people I don't know, not even with people I do know, not even with my guy friends. I just don't do that. And if I do I'm either really bored, or really interested in the girl.

No worries Hardy, I'm the same way. I don't just walk up to someone and start a conversation, like the rest of my family does, unless it's car-related. I've made about half my friends by car convos.

Im the same way too. Last time I tried to start a conversation with a hot girl, it whent horribly worng, that and I think I scared her off when I gave her a ride home. Guess she couldn't handle the power of my car  But I say if you ever see her again just be like "hey, how's the car, those 2.5 RS's are sweet...will you make out with me?"

Hardy. . . . you'll have to take a little more initiative, next time. Seriously. . . even if it's just asking her about her car more, and getting her to show it to you. It opens up the lines of communication, and THAT will definitely open up doors for you.

Girls like being paid attention to, but not obsessed over. At least, not the ones you'd want to get with.
