Removing rear windshield wiper arm on 94 Legacy Wagon

Post by mp »

I am trying to remove the rear windshield wiper arm in its entirety for repainting. The fronts had a cap and 12mm nuts but I can't figure out how to remove the rear wiper arm.

Not the piece the holds the blade - the whole metal arm.

Can anyone help me here??

Thanks,

Take the nut off and pull. I actually used a puller, but you may be able to man-handle the thing and wiggle it back and forth until it comes off the splined/threaded shaft. Just replace it - it's pretty cheap. I repainted mine a few years in a row until I found out what they cost.
