Interior
I have a 92 legacy and it still has that same stock interior...you know..that tanish color...I was thinking, is there some way I could paint the interior black...like the doorpanels, dash, etc....without spending too much money? If so, what kind of paint and shoud I prepare it with somethin else first?

Pieces that are all vinyl take dyes well and can be dyed black very successfully. I've seen this done for some rare vintage BMW interior parts with good results. Also faded panels can be brought back this way. The trouble is, you'll have no luck with most of the rigid plastics; ABS takes dye poorly, and any polypropylene parts will take no dye at all (it will bead up).
The only way I've seen this done is with parts removed, just single seat panels or door panels. Sounds like much more trouble that it is worth for an entire interior, especially when replacements are not rare or expensive.

One of my friends decided he was gonna be retarded and painted the interior of his 99 escort bright red with bright yellow trim, looked like the ronald mcdonald car. I havent seen it in a while since he lives in nebraska but hopefully he got smart and repainted it some other color.

I took some tan pieces off a junk yard car a few weeks ago and cleaned them with simple green. I then painted them with flat black vinyle dye. Bought it at auto zone. Be sure not to buy anything gloss, and for the love of god dont use regular spray paint.
