can someone take some measurements for me

from the bottom of the front bumper skin to the metal thats right in front of the radatiors. i need to see how much space i lost in the wreck

the wreck was almost a year ago. the front bumper isnt fiting over the fmic right. its been mounted but i havent been abel to put the bumper skin on. there is practily nothing left of the plastic because ive been cutting it off. ive bought all the space i can before cutting the metal off of the area sorunding the raditor to buy some more space. i need the core to sit against the thing thats in the middle of the radaitor. i took a measurement on mine and the top of the bottom lip to the closest metal back and there is only 1.25 inches apart there fore it probaly will never fit unless i one sping the 2500 bucks to fix the front right. two find a way to get enough space without cutting too much. or three cut the bumper beam and remount the ic up about 3 inches. and all of thoes choices are no good cept for maybe the second and that is near impossible. i just want to know how much space i lost. it was stupid of me not to measure the widith space first.

if i get the gc8 then ill put the ic on the gc8. if i dont ill either sell it or cut the bumper to fit. as in right now all the pastic that you usualy cant see and would get in the way are gone and the next step is the cut the parts of the skin that you can see and let the endtanks and cor stick out in front of the bumper while staying under it. right now if i can put the bumper on the verry front of the car would be about 2 inches from the top of the core. if you liik at your car from the driver side its general shape is \ which is causeing the problem. on the top theres enough space and on the bottom there isnt.


im soooooooo pissed right now. i need an sti. thats the one car that has proven to me that it is actualy worth it to buy a new and middle expensive car to fix up. 11s on 2k worth of parts is an appealing thing

Oh yea, I forgot.

From the last stock peice to the metal was about 1.5 to 2". I don't have any exact measurements right now. I think you could easily get about 3 with some mild trimming.
