Sunroof stuck open

Post by LegacyLS90 »

My sunroof is stuck open, its not completely open, its just to the point where it's about to be open. My button never works, but my dad tried to open it, and it has been stuck that way for 2 weeks. Any advice on closing it? PLEASE HELP! :!: :!:

If all you want is to get it shut so it doesn't rain in your car, you can manually close it.

In the middle rear of the ceiling (right above where the middle passenger in the back seat would be) there's a small plastic circular cap in the headliner. Pop this cap off with a flat screwdriver and it exposes part of the sunroof control system. There should be a wrench in lid of the center console storage compartment; use that wrench to turn the sunroof motor manually.

If you don't have that wrench anymore, I think it's a 5mm allen.
