NA 5mt to turbo 4eat CV/axle swap?

The Ol' touring wagon is a clickin' and a clackin' on hard left turns while accelerating, and "howls" a bit at certain speeds (65mph is the worst of course... )
It also clicks a bit upon hard acceleration while in a straight line.
My Buddy says it's definitely the axle shaft/CV that needs replaced.

Um... Should that swap okay from a N/A 5mt into my turbo 4eat?

I hope so...I'm Poor lately, and I got the parts if it'll work out.
