I was looking around at my local Autozone, and noticed they had universal Energy Suspension polyurethane swaybar bushings and endlinks.

They were fairly inexpensive (less than $20), so I was thinking about trying these out. Anyone tried these out before? Am I to be the first?

I checked out their website and saw they don't have a greasable 18mm bushing, but they do have a non-greasable version of that size.......

My neighbor is running Energy rear sway bar links and Energy front sway bar links. They are beefy.

From my experience, Energy stuff is really nice. Compliant enough to reduce some noise, but stiff enough to increase performance.

I may have to give those a try, then.

non-greasable polyurethane bushings can be lubed with "personal lubricant" that is water-based. Safe for latex... safe for urethane. Glide works much better than KY for what its worth

It won't last as long as regular grease, but you cannot use regular grease with urethane. I hate urethane squeaks

i have installed a full vehicle bushing kit on my old civic.

i used the lithium grease that came with them, and only applied the grease lightly. i never greased them after initial install, and i NEVER had a single squeak. not even one. i even drove it during a michigan winter too.

it was a tedious install, but WELL worth it. after 200k+ miles, the OEM stuff was all gone, and they restored the chassis to better than new feel. combined with a stiff suspension setup, the car felt like it was on rails

I had them on my autox camaro...they are nice! But mine were grease-able if I remember correctly?

When I start messing with the brakes on the legacy I might re-do the bushings.

i've got them on my honda (actually, all my bushings are polyurethane). The endlink bushings really do clean up turn in, but don't expect anything drastic.

As for sound, I slopped axle grease all over the bad-boys, and haven't heard a peep yet.
