SHE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by LegacyPunk »

Take that code 22 you POS!!!, I got you bwahahahaha. So here'e what went down...

1 Legacy + IC + code 22=
1 Legacy - IC= - code 22 = :D

So it was as I feared my IC was causing my code 22 and my air leak noise, Im deaming my IC setup unstable so its back to stock. Running 9-10 lbs of boost is safe without an IC correct? I started her up and the CEL didn't come on at all.

Im Sooo relieved and happy that she's back to her spirited old self :D :D :D

9 or 10psi of boost of probaly fine since stock is 8.7. I am still weary of adding an intercooler for those reasons.

nice equations by the way

I don't see how removing the intercooler could fix a knock sensor trouble code... It might be masking it by removing some vibration, but you'll still probably get the code eventually.

9 to 10 psi should be okay with an upgraded exhaust, which your sig indicates you have.

I don't know either. It might of been because the turbo to Y-pipe pipe was kinda kinked and could of really limited air intake, also the IC was vibrating a lot when I came to stops. Ill balme it on MFS

Well, as always, vrg3 is right. Code 22 on the next day :( and then I get to school today and it goes off. I definetly think its just my faulty re-wairing of the knock sensor. At least I figured out that my IC setup had an air leak somewhere.

Ill get it fixed someday soon, I hope. I think since it goes on and off intermitently that my knock sensor (fairly new) is still good and its all because i dont have a shielded wire or whatever.
