Trouble starting car

Post by simpreza2 »

I have been working on my gf's car for a while and it sits for a week or two between working on it and I just bought a new battery for it and when I try to start the car, it clicks. Not likw when your batt is dead but it clicks just once. Then I try it again and the same thing happens. I keep trying to start it and on the 4-5 try it turned over. I tuened it off and the same thing happened. It was a little "hard"(It would take a lil for it to fire up due to old dead batt) to trun over before but not this troublesome. It feels almost as if something is preventing it from turning over. Where/what should I check for 1st?

bad contacts in the starter motor. Call an auto electric supply and they will be able to fix it or swap it out for your old one for under $100
That beer you are drinking cost more than my car
