Well, I got the uppipe, turbo, and downpipe on, and decided that I wanted to shrink wrap the O2 sensor connection for the winter, to prevent it getting drenched in the snow.
So I just left the exhaust open downpipe so I can drive to the store to get some shrink tubing.
I was driving it a little today, and good lord.
It's SO friggin loud. It's unberrable in the car, but SO cool. I absolutely LOVED how it sounded, but hated the sheer volume of it.
SO, it really did get me thinking, and I'm going to get a straight pipe bent for the car. A single peice, from the downpipe to the tip.
A friend of mine has a straight pipe on his EJ18T impreza, and it sounds so bitchin. Running open downpipe certaintly makes things a bit more interesting. I wouldn't mind the same sound coming from the back of the car

You can just be idling, and hear the turbo spinning, you rev it and you can hear the turbo spool down, it sounds like a semi.
When a Semi is Jake Braking, that's how my car sounds when I engien brake. It's sweet.
