I bought Sooby a 2.25" catback with a magnaflow muffler (
14815 ) for christmas
. Didn't take pics of it until now because I'm lazy. Anyway, enjoy.
Almost looks stock.
More like a resonator than a muffler.

There was more to the last two but my camera decided to be an idiot.
More in that album.

Looks nice Hardy! I'll have to do the vids later but I like the look of the muffler.

Yeah, that muffler's exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks, it sounds really loud to me and it does kinda drown out other sounds but I have really sensative ears. Ryan said it's not too loud though and he's used to the CES turboback.

I like the looks and the sound! Definitely a contender when I decide to get a new muffler! Mind telling how much it cost? Do you notice any difference in torque and power?
BTW, nice 1-2 shift on your second video!

It was 220+tax including parts and labor. Took about an hour. I don't feel any difference but from my very unprofessional tests it is faster.

Dang....
That ain't bad.
If I can find somewhere that can install that, I may have to look into that once I find a new job.....

That sounds so awesome. I think you should post that on Nabisco and see what all the WRX n00bs think
And even though I'm partial to single-tips, that looks pretty good, and I agree it looks stock which is a big plus.
Like I said, if I were still modding my car, that's exactly what I would put on it.

I REALLY like the fact that it looks stock.
I dunno why, but I like the look of dual tips......
That was one of the requirements for any exhaust I get.
I was looking around at prices for if I were to get a 2.5" cat-back.
$100 for a muffler and $20 for tips (none of the mufflers with tips were 2.5").
It has a good sound, and you are looking at about half the price of a Stromung muffler for an entire cat-back.

I think it looks killer Hardy. Can't wait to hear it in person. The dual tip muffler keeps it stealth as well, which I'm a big fan of. Good work!

Yep, that's what I'd be putting into my Subaru once I get to the exhaust system. Except I might just keep the stock muffler... though that Magnaflow muffler sounds damn good. I too am partial to dual tips on first-year Legacys, so the OEM look you've got going there with the deep, Boxer sound is just awesome.
I dunno about stealth, but it's got definite bling factor. Love that sound!
