Super Ultra Mega Mini-Meet

Post by LaureltheQueen »

Tristan and myself. I picked him up from work, as his car has a blown tranny. Met his mother(she works with him) and assured her that none of us want to rape him(that I know of). We went to a nearby mall in search of coffee and wanting to watch auditions for a local version of American Idol. The auditions were over so we headed to Starbucks(yes, Starbucks in the Seattle area, what a concept!). Got coffee and wandered around for a while, then I took him home(had to meet some other people farther south). Got to check out his legacys, not too shabby. :) I took a few photos, but I'm a bit off, and left my memory stick plugged into my computer  Then I headed out.

Tristan's totally cool, I'm glad to have such a spiffy legacy driver local.

You'll have to come up and party. That's an order. :)

On the upside, I did get to take a photo of my car's next mod when I got home and got ahold of my mem. stick. :D

It totally made my day. Serious, guys.. Laurel is bomb. I was just telling her how I think I've met a celebrity now.. I get to tell people, "I know Laurel! We even roamed around the mall..
I'm glad she didn't quite get the photos up yet.. dunno if I want all you to see that I'm white trash, not after we flipped GT8 shit about that.
But really, its an honor.
..and I walked away with my dignity, and my asshole unchanged. No raping occured. *whew*

So, if I come up and party with you guys, and I happen to get intoxicated and pass out, are one of you going to put icy-hot on my ass to make me think I was violated?
(it's cool though, I don't pass out --ever.)

Lol, how do you know this!?

I've only spoken to Art and Laurel through IM and here and whatnot, but they are awesome people! I can't wait until I can get out there!

Phil, you'll love them even more in person! This bbs has been, for a long time, my only real social interaction (see: problems) but getting to know all of you, and especially Laurel and Art has been way cool. Meeting someone like that in person... it's even cooler. I still think it's a Subaru thing. Heck, it's a Legacy thing.. Even OB drivers don't associate with each other as much as we do!
Oh, and the Icy-Hot idea came from a Howard Stern show one time.. it was something about one of the NFL teams, is how they 'initiate' their new players. They take 'em out, get 'em drunk as fuck, add some strippers and whatnot, and make buttsex jokes/threats all night, and THEN, when the new players pass out, they get some gloves, and rub icy-hot on their *rectums* so that when they wake up the next morning, their head, and their ass hurts. They think they've been violated, but they're too scared to say anything about it, so they have the shame/hurt in their head all season. Later, the team tells 'em the truth, though.

Oh, and Laurel, since you're a weenie about engine work, I'd love to throw my hands in and help you, Art, and whomever with the IC install.. I can handle it.

Weeelll.. I didn't say I could do the WHOLE install, as I'm not as familiar with turbo engines, --but-- I know a fair bit about the upper annals of our ejs that I could be of some help.
..Or I can just be the beer monkey. I can hand you cold ones quickly and well, and i've mastered the twistless open

i'm smelling another mini-meet, but this time you might *ahem* invite a certain someone who's posting right now. Plus, my limited knowledge might be of value to you  maybe i could even convince my dad to let us use the shop on Sunday or Monday, that would be fun.

i have class on monday too.

I'll supply beer/soda/normal food if anyone wants to come up and help install it, so I can save $50 and not pay Austin. I'm so cheap. Oh yeah, and I still need air hose.
