charcoal canister to intake hose question

if the line that goes to a valve and then to the charcoal canister is disconnected at the valve will mpg's suffer in an emense way. ive been getting about 10 mpg this week and when i looked my line was disconected.

Yea, that returns evaporated fuel to the engine for re-burning, instead of being wasted to the atmosphere. I am pretty sure that's what it does...

Connect it back up.

So you had a small intake leak, and had the canister open to atmosphere when on boost.

That shouldn't have made a huuuge difference in mileage, but it would have made some difference. It could adversely affect driveability too.

driveabilty was excelent. no idle problem or anything. in fact traction was the only issue this last week
