does it matter how far the mbc is from the turbo? im not too keen on stopin and popin to adjust it.
also do you cover up all 3 of the stock boost control nipples and the one on the intake?

It does matter somewhat. If the hoses are too long then you might get some spiking because the pressure signal to the wastegate actuator would be delayed. The problem is worsened by using larger-diameter hose.
You could just try and see. It might be just fine.
You can leave the bottom hose from the solenoid connected to the intake resonator if you want; it's not gonna do anything.

You want to run it in to the cab right? It should be fine like that, there could be some problems but I know people who have it run like that with nothing.
I don't see much point to it, adjust it once and then leave it alone.
It only takes me 5 min to dial in the boost I want, thats with stopping and getting under the hood.

I've run a standard MBC into the cab on my old turbo Saturn (may she rest in peace in that plastic junkyard in the sky), before and after the move didnt make much difference, still no surging and tight regulation. I made sure to use the proper diameter hosing to relocate it and kept it as short as possible (mounted it relatively close to the hole in the firewall it was run through). It was kinda nice to be able to reach down and change boost while you're waiting at a red light. Without spending $600 on an EBC system.
