Here are some pics.

This is the Nabco valve I replaced in my '91 SS.

Here is it with the cap off. That is a spring on the top.

This is a close-up of the bottom of the spring. There is a little thing like this on both sides.

The sticker on it says DPV-107 37.5x.03

I believe my new wagon valve says DPV-108A 45x.03. I can't honestly remember.[/img]

I wonder what the 45 and the 37.5 dictate?

I am guessing split point. I remember in the other thread someone mentioned that the wagon valve had a higher split point, but the same reduction ratio (0.3) or something like that.....

Yes, you're right.

Sedans have a split point of 37.5 kg/cm^2 while wagons have a split point of 45 kg/cm^2.

The 0.3 is the reduction ratio; after the split point the pressure ramps down by 30%.

I haven't tried to remove the spring yet, as I know there must be quite a bit of pressure on it, and I don't want to lose an appendage.

I'll be sure to post pics when I figure out a way to disassemble it further (why do I enjoy taking stuff apart so much...?).

I dunno, but it started leaking.

There was a bit of corrosion around one of the button things when I opened it up.

Also, the cap didn't seem to be put on firmly enough to hold the pressure of the braking system. That means the fluid that was in there probably got past a seal somewhere.
