The damn thing records everything. Seems like that red light never turns off!

Apparently there's an option you can turn OFF which tells it to record the "most popular" shows.
Of course, since I don't own one, I'm only regurgitating what I heard from another source.

I only record a few shows but it takes it upon itself to record those shows.....no matter what time or channel they come on.
I have 50 hours of Dog the bounty hunter re-runs!!

In my Tivo, I had to turn off "record suggestions". This basically means it won't record anything you don't specify.
