I think it's an interesting but stupid idea. Mud in the air filter much?

yeah comaro. voer 100hp and tq increace in their car just bolting it on.
its been around for a long time. im an avid advocate of it ever since it came out over 2 years ago.
the one on the itr traped a 96 on a 1/8th mile. thats about an 10-11 second 1/4 mine run. though it does have a built bottom end thats still impressive for the cost vs performance factor.

All the documentation I have read shows it works. No documentation yet to show it doesnt except for internet naysayers.

they posted the results on the website for the itr. and like i said before it put down over 300 on a mustang here in town.
what they dont tell you is that the itr blew the motor after he got past the 1/8th mile point and it resulted in a 13sec pass at 95 mph. if the motor had not gone the pass would have ended in the 10-11 sec range. also what they didnt tell you is that the car was untuned on a stock motor running the highest recomended amount of boost made by the likes of greddy and hks for a gsr not an itr. he was alos using a methanol injection bandaid. the motor has been built now and engine management has been added of some sort no one knows what exactly but as soon as the track opens this season we should be seeing updated numbers for that car.
as for the f-bodys yes its an over 100 tq and hp increace just by bolting on the kit running 5 psi. the kit consists of a reflashed ecu tuned for extra fuel. 7 psi can be ran with the optional methanol injection for gains nearing the 200 mark for hp and torq

I stand by my ideas that the kit might work for the drag strip, but it'd be a cold day in hell before I ever considered using it on a daily driver.
If Tim Allen can supercharge a Caddillac CTS, and if Chuck Mallet can stuff a supercharged 7 liter under the hood of a CTS-V, and if GM Performance is going to be releasing a 500hp supercharged CTS-SuperV, I'm sure you can find room for a turbo in an engine bay.
Turbo isn't always the way to go. Why not centrifugal supercharge? Similar properties to a turbo, less piping.
Fast, reliable, cheap. Pick two. I don't think the remote turbo fits the second very well.

thats the thing though. most of the kits purchased from this company are on daily drivers not track queens. if you wach the 2 guys garage youll see that the torq curve starts earlier than stock and holds the power curve verry well.
look i know im not gonna convince you phil, after all you are entitled to your opinion. most people that think its a bad idea the first time they see it usualy wont ever see the light until they take a ride or see one in action in person. id recomend going to an local chapter of an fbod website and seeing if someone will take you for a ride.
or you can dl some of the vids off the site and maybe thatll show you the way

It's a nice idea... you can turbo a car without adding to an already crowded engine bay, turbo doesn't run as hot... etc
But, lag is and always will be an issue with this kit, just as it is when going to a FMIC setup. Sure you can "properly size" the turbo to the amount of piping but really you still can't avoid the lag without sacrificing the power band somewhere. That said this system would work great on a high-compression N/A motor with large displacement... and that's why they are being used on the f-body platform and on pickups.
I'd never want this to be on any 4cyl car with low displacement and boost friendly compression ratios.... but those fwd drag guys need the lag to prevent themselves from spinning the tires out of control on launch
welcome to lag-ville... population: one remote turbo
