and you have pulled the clutch fork rod. Do you still have to pull the actual clutch fork up out of the tranny or do you just pull the rod? TIA

You have to pull the fork up so that it disengages from the throw out bearing. You'll be able to feel it when this occurs.

The fork does not need to come out of the bell housing (I don't think it would fit anyway).
