EJ25 Headers

Post by tris91ricer »

Yes, I searched.
But, I want to buy this:

It's a Borla Header for an EJ25..

Do we have dual-port exhaust?

Any reason why it won't work? Will my tranny get in the way?
Crush my dreams of decent gas mileage, won't you?
Which is another question:
Will properly modidng my exhaust get me better mileage? I know the last time I did an exhaust mod I got much better mpg than without.. is it all in my head?

They will, in fact, work for you :)

We DO have the dual port exhaust, some of the later EJ22's only had single port exhaust.

Less exhaust restriction should, in theory, give you better economy. But you'll be on it more to enjoy the sound. So it cancels out :)

So these things (the headers) have a bend in them that, after the collectors merge into one, they take a turn to the right..
Is that okay? I've never designed a custom exhuast before.. any resources I should be looking at? I just need to know what pieces I should be getting, and how to direct the exhaust back to the right side again..
