fitting face lift parts to non facelift

basially i want to do the front bumper mod that THAWA pointed out in his post

anyway because my 89 wagon is a non facelift i was wondering if i just need to get new fenders and corner lights ???

im wondering if the facelift corner lights will fit up to the head lights ?

and also to do the bumper mod do i just need to grind the ends off my steel bumper frame ???

fenders, headlights, bumper, corner lights, grille, and hood. basically the entire front end

Probably. The hood latch (IIRC) is part of the rad core support.
I looked into this too, cause I wanted to do a shell swap, but it never happened cuz I just took the whole car!
dood, just get the whole car, and drop your engine in there, and whatever else you feel you gotta have. ..that's my best advice, friend.

ok well i already have a hood and i need new fenders, so if i get the headlights and corner lights (making custom grill) then it will just all bolt on ???

i figure it will as the only differance i can see is the cut of the the corner lights and the lip of the hood.

you're not starting off with anything as a grille? because the prefacelift grille is way to small to "modify"

well not really, butting sounds so half baked i think ill cut the shape of my mesh and then run a black rubber seal strip around the mesh to give it some shape and keep it flush with the head lights.

mainkly im just looking for ward to having nice driving lights for off roading o==o
