If you can get the black to match the window surrounds, then paint the rest of the car pink to match the Sti badging on the wheels. Lowered, rear spoiler. SORTED!!!

If you paint the roof black, I'd definitely tint the window to match. 8)

My poor car...drove it to Liverpool and back but instaed of going home...I ended up going straight round to the Specialists :(

It's going to be an engine out job   Needs new crank case gasket and a few other gaskets to sort out oil leak and new plugs to cure misfire...wondered why I was only able to do 60mph on the motorway

Should be back next week complete with my new bucket seats 8) still considereing wether to pay the quoted £100 to respray the roof black - what do you guys reckon?

Why does the engine have to come out? You can replace nearly everything inlcuding the heads without removing the engine! At least on the 2.2 liter.

I'm not too keen on the black roof. Maybe on a true rally car, but on a street car with a few mods, it seems a little over the top. Just my 2 cents though :)

Nice work Golden Oldie. I think gunmetal rims are awesome. About spraying the roof black, on no too sure on that one, I'd focus more effort into painting the mirrors and door handles body color, then lower the beast and put an rs spoiler on the boot.

The door handles are already colour coded  and I think the black wing mirrors work with the black window surrounds :D

Have been quoted £100 to respray the roof plus it needs a new wing plus at least another couple of hundred pounds to tidy it up so I think I'll let the body be and concentrate on saving my cash for a turbo like Ian's silver saloon one that is for sale on http://www.legacyregister.co.uk

Cheers, Jon
