What does your nickname mean?

Post by scottzg »

For example, my name is scott, and ZG stands for Ze Great. I've had scottzg for about 13 years now... I used to put it in high scores in video games before al gore invented the internet.

Anyone else?

free5ty1e = I wing it
it's got numbers because it was originally a screen name, and the correct spelling had been taken. Have also had it for about 12-13 years now. Nifty.

I got mine when I moved to Montana from Canada. I was the skinny short new kid, and some friends of mine thought I needed a badass black nickname. So, some people called me that for awhile, and it ended up being my AIM screenname, and now I use it on forums. I have the same name here, at SA, nasioc, usmb, and iclub.

J = My name, Justin.

Money = Comes from when I worked at MCI and I was in "Team Cash Money". Worked for a big ole black guy who kept telling us about his Navigator and all his "bling bling". It's not something that everyone knows about and it's something I won't forget, so I used it in my name. Had it for about 5 years now. Ever since I joined the internet.

The MoNeY look is just for zazzel. 8)

My last name is Skidmore ... Skidmore -> Skid, it's a natural evolution that no matter what I introduce myself as and always go by, eventually those around me will call me Skid. The 542 is because way back when I had to chose a few numbers for AIM, I orginally had 543 but that quit working so I decremented. Had it for 6-7 years I guess.

suby = Subaru

luvr = lover (yes it's gay as hell I know)

2212 = the exact displacement of the EJ22 in cubic centimeters

I've thought of changing it, but I've used it for everything from my AIM handle to my eBay account, so I just leave it.

georryan-

Actually a mix of my email from college: georry.

First four letters of the last name followed by the first two of the first name. I just went ahead and added my full first name onto the end of my last name part and use it as a login for all over the place.

Damn, I feel like a dumbass now. My nick on here used to be Padishar Creel. I changed it to creel because I thought it was too long. I'm not too on fire about it anymore but it comes from a Terry Brooks novel. I believe it was The Scions of Shannara. Padishar Creel was the leader of the free born, a band of rebels that owed allegiance to no one but who they chose. He was a rough kind of fellow. I used to name all of my nicks after characters in books so I remembered them better.

The Evolution Movement is a cult/terrorist organization in my 'Dante series' novels that believes society is causing the de-evolution of humans due to resources squandered on the weak that otherwise would not naturally survive. They're my beliefs that I made an engine of (mostly) evil as I don't think any one's beliefs should be forced on the whole.

OK, do I really have to explain my screen name?

legacy= I drive a legacy
92= it's a 1992
ej22t= is the engine code

Now my actual nicknames vary but my main one growing up was Phatty or Phatty B. You know, Matty= Phatty. Phatty because I always went big skating and snowboarding/skiing. Bigger then all the rest. and B is the first letter of my last name.

My name is Greg, and a friend called me G-reg one day and it stuck. More recently another friend came to the realization that my last name, Ames, rhymes with James…….and now “I’m GREG AMES BITCH.” That one’s getting a bit old.

LaureltheQueen. Um... I made this in middle school, when I used aim, and couldn't get a more "punk" sounding name. My name is Laurel, the "Queen" part goes back to when I was a just a little pipsqueak. My brother created this thing to make him feel cooler than me, he was King Krustie, and then when I got upset about it because he wouldn't let me in, my mom made him make me a kingdom too. So I became Queen Rinkley. Hence the sn.

I've since began just going by "Laurel" though

Being a Jack London fan since I was a boy, simply adding "Yukon" to my first name seemed easy and appropriate. :lol:

As some of you know I have spent some time in the Army where everyone goes by last names. Mine being Krawczyk people have a hard time with it, I don't know why :D So I got called K a lot and it just kinda stuck.

:lol: Sometimes having a weird last name can suck, but then it usually means people remember you a lot more. . . even if they can't pronounce it. ;)

Ok...mine is pretty straight forward...

555= I went to a WRC superstage in New Zealand in 1997 and a bunch of 555 cars were running there, and I thought they were wicked...

BCTurbo is because I own a BC Legacy Turbo

I also have a 555 Subaru World Rally Sticker on the Corner of my windshield
