I had a great weekend. It was sunny and I worked on my buds stang. I also got my downpipe bunged and it looks good although I am wondering if the nut he welded on is too deep. I took a walk Sunday morning. I even debated going to church I was so damn happy!

I didn't even have to use my AK. I guess you could say it was a good day.

If the bung was an O2 sensor bung, it should be fine. Summit sells those bungs.

It wasn't an O2 sensor bung. It was a nut that has the same thread pitch and ID as the bung that was located down farther on the pipe. It was a little thicker in that it sticks out a little more than what's on there now. I'm just hoping it sticks into the pipe far enough to get a good reading. My friend welded it at work and coated it with zinc to make up for the lost ceramic coating.

If you have to, you could probably grind the nut down to make it shallower, right?

Yeah, it could be ground down. I already planned on it actually but any work you don't have to do is good so if it fits that's a good thing.

The AK line was from an Ice Cube tune back in the early 90's, just so you don't think I'm out there using an AK.

I don't see why the O2 sensor would give you a problem. It's a fix for the CEL on de-catted WRX's, I guess it reads ok at low flow but not at WOT.

It'll be fine. I do hope that the sensor is the same as the wrx one in thread pitch and size though. After all, it comes from a wrx dp.
