saw this and thought it was pretty interesting. I just wonder why they mounted the velocity stacks so far into the plenum. seems like the air wouldnt have to bend as hard if the edges of the stacks were more like 1/4" from the plenum wall.
It would also be cool to see what kind of gains this would make over a stock intake manifold. anyone ever see a custom ej manifold in a car application?

The only thing I've seen was the twin-plenum setup on the Jun WRX. It used a single plenum and throttle body for each head.
