Quick question!

Post by Nomake Wan »

All right... now that my car's fixed and I've got my bank account back under control (long story), I'm ready to finally finish all the little things I wanted to do to my car.

One of them is upgrading the ignition. I want an MSD DIS-2. But there are two models I'm seeing... the DIS-2 and the DIS-2 Plus, part numbers 6211 and 62112, respectively.

They don't look any different. They don't sound any different. So which should I be going for!? I have no experience with the systems, so I don't know which'd be better.

So far there's a 6211 up for bid and a bunch of 62112s up for purchase. So I guess what I want to know is if the 62112'll work. It seems the easiest to get my hands on.

Thanks, all!

Looks like the 62112 is the newer model. I don't see anything different from the 6211 though.
