Other Subaru Seats

I have the oppertunity to get my hands on some seats from a 93 impreza for free. I'm going to get them no matter what but what i want to know is if they'll direct bolt onto my car (unlikley) or if i could modify the mounts to fit?

they probably will bolt in, most subaru seats are interchangable, the rears may or may not fit perfectly

a few people on here have put Impreza seats from many years in their cars with good results

Yes, they will bolt right in. No, they aren't any better than your stock seats.

The early Impreza had horrible seats.

I've had my 94SS seats, a set of 99 RS seats, a Version 4 JDM STi seat, and soon a one-peice fiberglass race bucket in my car. All but the last one have bolted directly in, without any problems.

Thanks for the info, i wanted to know because they're free and mine had Cig. burns and tears when i got them. I didn't expect them to be a real upgrade.

you know what subaru had surprisingly supportive seats?

the GL-10 and RX loyales, thats what. and they had this cool black and white checker pattern on them. w/nice hip and side bolsters and more of a countoured headrest too.
