4eat shifter noise

Post by Fishy »

This has been going on since before we had the car but it's finally driven me nuts enough to ask about it:

when I move my shifter (auto) from P to D or R or wherever it makes a very pronounced *GRONNNK*/*GROOAANN* sound. To me it sounds like a gummy linkage but I don't know how much the 4eat has for linkages.

Anyone got any ideas?
