rod lengths

Post by jaxscuby »

so I am doing a bit of homework for my
2.2 to 2.5 conversion.

So I have a ej2.2t from my '92 Legacy
and CP Pistons for usdm STi.
The stroke is the same but having
a difficult time finding rod length.

thanks

Hi, Ben. Welcome to Legacy Central. Have you tried searching for "rod length*" using the Search function?

For this sort of project, I would suggest contacting Crawford performance. They can tell you if your ideas are sound and will work with that motor. They offer a 2.4l conversion on the EJ22t. I have not heard of anyone overboring and stroking the EJ22t to 2.5l...
