IC and stock exhaust
Is it a bad idea to run a TMIC with stock exhaust?

Hell no! It's an absolutely great idea! You just can't really run much more boost then stock until you open things up and do some other mods.
It's never a bad idea to be intercooled.

It is if the pressure drop is immense or you can't cool the air fast enough, and it just becomes a heatsink.
