Where you at Foo!

Post by G-reg »

I'm a spatial person, and the tags saying where people are don't do much for me. Another forum I waste time on had this set up with Google Maps. So go here and put a "pin" in where you are at.

Ummm... I'm officially retarded. Didn't see the part where I could zoom in

The one further north in FL is where I really am, the other one was close but not quite.

G-reg, can you, like, delete my first one? Sorry

Damn, I didn't zoom in either. That's cool, I can actually pick out my rowhouse from the other ones on the block!

subyluvr: I only see 1 for you.
G-reg did you delete it? Or does the map automatically keep only 1 pin per person? I'll move mine myself if it's no trouble.

subluvr - I've been through your neck of the woods. One of my clients works in Altamonte Springs, about 4-5 miles north of your pin

Probably 30 seconds before you posted, I fixed it :)

Altamonte Springs has a ton of business in it. What company is your client affiliated with if you don't mind me asking?

Got it moved myself, thanks.

Blam! Now you can see that the smiley landed on my roof deck. The Baltimore harbor looks like SimCity from space.

I compared the results of my google.earth search to the guest map and got my pin within a mile to my house.

Thats pimp.

If anyone does not have google earth I highly reccoment it. You can see your car from space...really.
