Ok, so looking at the front of the engine, the drivers side cam sproket has an L on it,and the passenger has an R. I havent pulled them off yet so I just wanted to know if It is based on siting in the drivers seat?

dumb question I know

Easy way to tell....the driver's side has protruding "bumps" on the back for the cam sensor.

thanx, i will check tonight when I get home, has anyone tried using a sproket wrench like in the haynes manual, or just a strap wrench, I wonder how easy the cams turn with out the sprocket on them

Everything on the car is labeled such that you are viewing the car from behind or inside the car, I believe all cars are like this. They don't turn very easy if there is load on them.

i just used a strap wrench so they came off pretty easy, they did turn a little, but the should all line up with the marks
