Cheap: Very Few

You're not really going to find any body kits. You bought a Subaru...this car has a rally heritage; it's not meant to have a body kit.

I swear that picture gets uglier everytime someone posts it. That is one ugly body kit.

Seems a thread like this gets started every once in a while.

We don't hate body kits. This is a forum for cars that have a rally heritage. You don't put a body kit on a car you're going to be racing around in the dirt.

I think the company that makes that kit is in australia and your probably not going to find any body kits in the states for an older legacy. Anything from overseas is gonna cost a lot.

I just laughed so hard.

Rally cars go off-road. Off road EATS body kits.

If you want a body kit- best idea would be to find one for a honda and modify. Or make one on your own.

Never wanted a body kit.

That's a very simple looking design. With a little practice and some ingenuity you could make something very close with plastic and or glass for pretty cheap using stock bumpers for a foundation. The skirts look pretty straight forward. You'd just have to make a flange on the inside where you could attach it to the sills. Might be a fun winter project and at the least you'd learn something about fabbing stuff.

OK, after Josh's verbal spanking, I went to the rslibertyclub.org's forums and found a few things.

There are front lips for our 92-94's there (good luck on shipping) and there are body kits for the second generation legacys 95-98. But pretty much anything for 91-94 is non-existant.

you might be able to modify an older integra's body kit since they have a similar design to our cars.

actually, many people rally fwd cars.

The point that I believe these people were trying to make is that subarus have a rally heritage. Would you dump a truck?

Turning a fwd NA legacy into a "street tuner" is near impossible. Good luck

im kinda worried about some of you guys, you have to much time on your hands, its going to be a forced injection WRX motor so please explain how this is going to be hard?? to me turning it into a rally car takes more time and money! DER DER DER, how many people do you know, would take their brand new 2006 WRX STI and go four wheeling??

lol.

forced injection?

There's also a difference between four-wheeling and rallying. A huge difference. A stock car can be rallied effectively.

What is this "DER DER DER" business anyway? Are you trying to immitate a retard noise implying that we are retards? If that's the case, you have to ask yourself, are we the ones who know the cars abilities, and tuning potential, or are you for believing you'll turn your 15 year old fwd legacy into a "street tuner" vehicle?

im gonna try to help because i feel like being nice.

but seriously that kit is $$$ meaning its expensive. and its about a 6 month wait for it to be built. not to mention shipped.

so to avoid the christmas rush go to rs25.com or nasioc and do a search for home depot lips. come back and thank me when your done

OK, Everyone has a different idea with what they want to do with their car. Since subaru has a serious rally heritage, and it took till around the mid 90's for tuners and people to find the Subaru Marquee, there are very limited body items for anything pre-95. NOW, if you had a wagon after 95, there are TONS of body modifications. I think some of these can be transplanted over to the sedans. If you want to go full body kit- you are looking at major money. You will also have to modify some existing kit for another car. There are kits for the sedans/wagons 95-on but most of these are in Japan. trying to source one is going to be tough. I think the major thing people are trying to tell you is: SUBARU LEGACYS WERE NEVER MEANT TO HAVE BODY KITS. Good luck on your project and I am curious as to what the end result will be.
