Hi all, i would like to know if an engine computer from a 91 turbo legacy will work on a 93 turbo legacy.
Both cars a usdm and automatics. I've been searching, but haven't come up with much other than the 92-94 cars don't have some sort of pressure monitoring wire or something like that.
Any ideas if the 91 ecu will work on the 93 without any problems?
Thanks
Brent

Yes, it will work perfectly.
The only thing is that if you use a Select Monitor on it, you'll need to use the appropriate cartridge for a 91 model rather than a 93 model.

So by it will work perfectly you mean it won't have any side effects that it shouldn't or anything strange happening?
Thanks for the reply.

Well, 91-94, since there was no 90 turbo model. But yeah.

yeah I'm going by what this sheet says I printed out from here.but some are marked "Turbo only"
tonight I think I'm going to look at the ECU for the Legacy and my ECU and see what needs to be what so I wont waste time to do the wires.
I think most of the time will be spent locating the Connections, I started writing the lables down on the ECU for my EJ18.
IMHO since I work with Electronic IMHO i hope I don't ofend anyone but this is pretty easy so far.

Yeah, it is pretty easy.
Just make sure you read up on my old posts, especially about the ignition relay.
