MAF compatibility ?'s

Post by serious »

Hi all, i'm wondering if all the hitachi mass air flow sensors with the metal body are the same and compatible from a normally aspirated car ( 90-91 manual) to a turbo car or if there is anything different?
Currently i have a n/a maf on my turbo, and i am wondering if it is the right one. I had several cel come on for it, but then redid some wiring and it went away, so i'm kinda drawing a blank here.
Car is still running like pooh, so i would like to eliminate this as a potential problem.
Thanks
Brent

Yes, all the metal hitachi MAF's are the same, and are interchangable.
