Half-ass

Post by subawhatsubawho »

I hate people that do things half ass. Only because they complain that what they did half-ass or skimped on to save a penny failed not too far down the road.

Take for instance today. My in-laws purchased a shitty aluminum disposable pan for our 2l pound turkey. The stupid thing popped a hole in it when I slid it aross the oven rack and I didn't know about it till just a little bit ago and it it started spooging turkey juice all over the element and stinking up the house. Now I have made them venture out to try and find 2 pans so I can double them as to not have this problem again.

Please do things right the first time people! OTHER PEOPLE DON'T LIKE TO HAVE TO GO BEHIND YOU AND FIX YOUR FUCK UPS!!

My mom has a buick. It's nice and comfortable, but I see lots of room for improvement. Though to be perfectly honest, the things I see don't really come to the mind of "normal" car buyer.

I didn't get the van Mark. It was a Dodge....

My Brined turkey was the ISHT!!! I cut into that bad boy and the juices just poured out of it. The family couldn't stop talking about it.

I am full of triptophan so I need a triptobed.

Didn't even have room for pumpkin pie.

We had 3 turkeys. One smoked, one Fried, and one Turduckin. Of course, we also had all the trimmings.

I ate SO much, and simply couldn't stop. But I am kind of hungry now, so I might actually go grab the rest of the stuffing.

I miss my turkey fryer. When I moved from CO to FL I didn't have enough room for it in the trailer so I sold it to my neighbor.

I used to Cajun inject turkeys all the time....I think I might have to do one for christmas.

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and if you have loved ones that need to drive/fly/swim home tommorow, may their journey be a safe one.

I'm going to sign out so I can go listen to my police scanner some more. Something big is going down and I want to know so I can call the news and see it on there. Yes...I do that.

You inject your bird with this:

and coat the skin of the bird with:

Then you fry it in the turkey fryer.....100% to die for! It's not really hot but it has a small bite that is ooohhh soooo gooood.

I had a tasty thanksgiving. I thought I was going to die. My personal favorite part though, is the sammiches for the next week. I have a sandwich for work today that has 3 layers of bread. The outside layers have mayo and mustard on them, and the inside layer is soaked in gravy. Between the layers is chunks of turkey. It's amazing

TONY CHACHERE'S f-ing RULES.... whole family and most friends addicted to the Cajun season salt. Can't find it in NY, have to fly to FL or LA to re-stock. Almost makes working for an airline worthwhile. I hope the hurricanes didn't damage their facilities....

Syncros are the shit! I almost bought one back in the day. The engine was shot but he was only asking a few hundred. I still kick myself to this day!

I did have a sweet Safari bus with the autostick and a 1600 stroker.

about chevies...
my roommate has a 93 corsica with 80k on it: 1/2 the miles I would expect for the condition. and it is absolutely BEAT. the funniest thing is that it was driven by his grandma for most of its life. burns mad oil, seats are mostly foam with a little springs and cloth, about 50%. about 1/2 the original paint is left(pealing white and primer showing through). a real testament to chevy quality!
