hey whats up everyone i got some q's that i hopefully could answer, i am wanting to put an ej20t in my 91 legacy, i was wondering is that a good swap for that car, will i neeed the ej20t harness and ecu?? or can i usae the stock ej22e harness and ecu, my legacy used to be AT it is now a MT ,but it still has its auto ecu , also i might get one from a place called nippon motors, located in california, the motor comes without a turbo is it worth 650.00 dollars??, has anybody ever heard of theis place?? also i need to know if there are ne turbos that i can get for cheap that will do a direct bolt up to the stock manifold, or should i just go to the junkyard by my house and pick up the EJ22t thats sitting in an old touring wagon?? thanks for the help!

The ej20t from nippon is really an ej20g. Nippon sells ALOT, but I have never done bussness with them. you will need a turbo harness and ecu. I would get the harness and ecu off the touring wagon at the JY. You might see if nippon has a turbo you can buy.
Where are you located?

you can use the EJ22t harness if you use the Ej22t ecu, and switch the Ej20g to wasted spark, instead of coil-on-plug. I believe there are several members who have done this. Although it will be considerable more difficult to put all this in a N/A legacy.
If I were you I would see if the JY would make you a package deal. You will need the pressure sensor assembly and the cross-member. As well as the harness, so you might as well buy everything an sell what you dont need.
Just a though.

damn,
couldn't you just start one thread for all of this? Where's a moderator to give out a warning when you need one.

I have a spare T-Bird Hybrid turbo that I might be able to part with if needed... Has zero shaft play, and is good to 14-15 psi

Ditto Matt
P.S. I found almost all the info I needed to do my swap by SEARCHing. All the info is out there, it just takes some digging.
