Lucky me!!

Post by stipro »

Right now I am in New Zealand  and............

I went to a auto rrecyclinhg yard, in Horopito, and picked my self up a aluminium coolant tank, off of a 1996 Legacy Twin turbo, and JDM glass head lights off of a 1992 Legacy GT (turbo) wagon. It cost me next to nothing aswell

Now to come in a week and install my new parts. Yeah me.

If you can get the early WRX hood vents (several straight louvres instead of the two holes the US RS had) I'll pay you triple your cost.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Glass headlights! I could really go for a pair of those... I second the "bring some back" comment!

remember the glass headlights are for RHD cars......and really shouldn't be used in the states.

Well, as far as more parts go, I am leaving the north island tomorrow @4am, but when I arrive in the south island, I will see what I can do for parts. Its not, however, a sure thing just because of customs issues, think about it a guy going back to Canada, via the U.S, with a suitcase full of car parts. :???:

P.S all the cars on the roads here are in mint condition, my jaw hit the floor the first week I was here. I will post so pics when I get home.

That's because of the Warrant of Fitness, that must be passed every 6 months...

On a side note, if you could bring me back a Fuji Grill Emblem (looks kinda like a lightening bolt) I would pay you dearly!!

Well, the possibility of doing another parts run has gone dry, I am in Christ Church right now, with no rental car, and my wife has caught some sort of bug leaving her to sleep for a few hours
