parts hording due to deer and stupid drivers

Post by dscoobydoo »

Where I am at, there is an abundance of bad drivers and wild roaming deer.

And considering how rare the car is ( lol- I am not going to get into the numbers game), I am hording body parts just in case of an accident.

Here's my inventory so far: New hood, scoop, grill, trunklid with tail, all rear lights and a spare sunroof glass piece. I figure I have the bumper cover left and I will be good. The fenders , front lights and doors are not turbo specific, so I am not bothering with those.

:-D

Paranoid- no- car lover- yes.

Deer from the front, back by a dumb driver. But I have seen pics of a deer being hit in the front and sliding THROUGH the car and taking out the front/rear windows and the trunklid. The inside was just full of blood everywhere.

My wife said I can keep the whole cars in the backyard and the parts in the garage...but only if I built or bought some nice shelving units. So I built them...and a workbench...and an entertainment center for my bedroom....and a fort for my kids. (fort is off the chain!)

Can't you keep an engine in your kitchen?

I may be getting a new bumper due to my collision. If that's the case, I'll have a bumper in excellent condition with a couple minor scrapes on it

Curious where you are sourcing the bumper from being new? AND price if you don't mind?
