Any reason why I shouldn't order this part? I'm thinking it should work just fine, and it is the cheapest one I've found so far.

That link won't work... you could tell us how to navigate to the part though. But you're talking about part number SUB030498?
3 things:
1) I don't think they mean "Japanese-spec" when they say "Japanese" there.
2) I believe at least some RHD cars have the port on the opposite side of the master cylinder (I think both sides have room to machine a port). This is no problem if you can figure out the plumbing.
3) The picture on that site seems to have the port on the correct side (the left side).

Thanks Vrg3. That is the correct part number I was looking at. I think the 'Japanese' label it contains only means it is a Japanese made part. Since our cars were built in Japan for the most part it makes sense. I noticed on another site, it also said Japanese part, but it was for a 2.2 Turbo engine. Yet, our engines were the only 2.2 Turbos out there, so I think I'm going to try and use this.

I'm getting antsy. I have an engine and tranny sourced to go in. I also have and STI short shifter on its way to my house as well as a new clutch and flywheel. I maneged to score an exceedy lightweight flywheel and a stage 1 wrx clutch for 768 bucks. From all my research that is a pretty good deal.
