Did any Subaru's have steering wheel mounted radio controls? The headunit in my Forester is capable of using steering wheel radio control input to control things. I could probably get it to work with an OEM wheel, and that'd be awesome!

My Mazda has them and I like them more than I thought I would.

I was looking into that a while ago, there is an OEM wheel that has radio controls, as well as cruise control lever. I think it was from an Impreza Outback or something. I have a thread on it somewhere. Seach :P

Haha, it was even my own post about it!

I'll have to look into it a bit more. I'd kill a fool to have steering wheel control.

I was just browsing ebay a couple weeks ago and was wanting to put an aftermarket wheel in the wagon. With the one shown, is there a hub adapter needed, or would it just bolt on and be in the stock location?

Image

I know its a cheesy knockoff and all that, just wondering if there is an adapter needed for it to be mounted.[/img]

My 91 legacy has the cruise control lever mounted in the back of the steering wheel, can an aftermarket wheel be put on? Does the lever stay where it is or have to be moved?

Had someone ask about that exact ebay wheel on a local board recently, apparently the metal it is stamped from is very flimsy making for a horrible wheel.
