how hard is it to install or how much to have it installed?

You can do it yourself. You have to remove the four plastic rivets, then the eight 10 mm nuts, then push it up. Don't loose the shims. The shims are put in at the factory to seat the glass up into the roof.
You can try to reuse the rivets, but they usually break for me, new ones can be bought at body shops or maybe auto parts stores.

I think putting one into a car that didn't have one in the first place isn't something I would wanna try, I though you just wanted to change the glass! I am sure it can be done but it would be tough to make the opening look OE without having a donor roof to cut up. All that stuff can be had, I will see what I have. Think you can do it? Can someone MIG it in for you?

lol, doing that crazy rally shit and somehow i ended up sitting on the sunroof :shock: jp, no it wouldnt open so i gave it a little *tap* and it cracked :(

Does the moonroof glass have a bronze tint like those in the '91 LSs or does it have a blue green tint?
