Kinda cool looking, but I think he made the right choice!

Thinking of it now, they'd look better on a sedan done up in a slight muscle car theme, but otherwise the styles clash a little. I was going to do the spokes in a medium gray. I defintely prefer the flat spokes after seeing them on my car. That Torque-Flight or Torque-Thrust or whatever style is also very hard to find!

But I am still crazy. My ex is making me see a psychiatrist to try some drugs due to my recurring depression, hatred for general humanity, etc. Not many of you know me that well, but I'm sure you can still imagine there aren't too many people that could get me to do this. Never underestimate the power of self-delusion.

That was actually a common aftermarket-style wheel back in the day. Kind of like those 5-slot Wolfrace wheels on Z's or Panasports on British cars.

The idea of the drugs to 'normalize' myself with the less evolved strikes me as too much Brave New World. That may beat 1984 for the dystopia I'd prefer, but the gov'ments got that tied up nicer everyday, too. But whatever, it makes for good material for novel 3 and I'm touched how much my ex cares. Shit, talk about bringing shit down ... now back to those wheels ...

sorry to bring things down again steve, but I don't see how taking medicine to make you "normal" is going to help with your hatred for humanity... sure, it might ruin your attention span, creativity, personality, and make things less exciting......

my friend got involuntarily committed.... and they put him on some pills.... they told him he had one of the least common mental disorders known to man. he was given the most commonly prescribed anti-depressant known to man. how will this help things?

I'm afraid doctors are just writing the scripts to get people out of the office, similar to how I say "solar flares caused your internet connection to drop, ma'am" when providing tech support.

Dude, I agree 100%. I'd rather be the true asshole I am. I believe we're here to learn shit and maybe my problems are there for whatever I have to learn from them. Would covering that up cause me to miss what I'm here to learn and make me repeat it in another life? Shit I hope not. Next time I'm kicking ass if I feel so inclined. Then I'll never learn my damn lesson and I'll be stuck dealing with damn humans until the world ends.

Problem is, my ex is so concerned that I can't say no to her. I'd cut my hand off if it would make her happy. Thankfully, she's not like that. Nothing will happen of this anyway. I think I somehow have PTSD and there's nothing they can really do for that. I have a lot in common with this Vietnam vet I know who's a complete nut. He loved the war since he got to kill people without a problem for it. His squad was known for getting information from captives, but never bringing any back. Sounds like most of them were thrown from the helicopter. He lives in the woods today and is looking to get a .50 machine gun with tracers to take out deer in his garden at night from the back porch. Yup, that'll probably be me one day. Hm, maybe drugs won't be that bad ...

Behavioural drugs can work wonders for some people.

Remember that your brain, like a car, is a machine. If you're running low on a fluid, you have to top it up. Sure, your car might not act like the car you know after you fill up the radiator and it stops overheating every 5 miles, but that doesnt mean it was the wrong thing to do...
