New CV axle...now torque bind? 5MT not 4EAT

I did a bunch of reading about torque bind and everyone is saying that it only occurs with the 4EATS. I just replaced my drivers side CV axle and now I have what seems like torque bind in certain slow, turning driving conditions. I also get a hicup-like symptom when I let off the gas while in gear.

I noticed the axle joints are very stiff. Could this be a culprit?

It's possible.

I received a joint from cvaxles.com that was really stiff. I just didn't like how it felt. I was told it would loosen up after driving.

I didn't want to chance it, so I sent my old axles in to get rebuilt. They came back, and felt fine.

When I did my last cv joint I had the same problem. My mechanic told me that it's not too uncommon to have them stiff at first but our family gives him a lot of business so he went ahead and just replaced it and alls been well.
