Removing radio

Post by subjfd »

Hi,

I need to remove my radio in order to get to the cigarette lighter, as mine blew. I tried to remove my radio, but can only find 2 screw behind the cupholder once removed. ANy clue would be welcomed !

Cheers

the black plastic bezel around the radio has 4 screws; the 2 you found behind the cupholder and 2 more on the bottom edge of the bezel. requires a stubby screwdriver. after that it will become apparent what needs to come off.

anyone here can help?
like i have said in previous post my radio stop working like a month ago, last week i got a new one for scrapper here , i install it and its was working good for 1 day, i have also install my rear speaker and now my cd player stop working i have check the connection seem good.

i have broke the black pin retainer for the cd player but the connection dont seem to be loose, eject work but i have no musics at all and my radio AM FM work

just wondering what happen
is this possible that i use a radio from a little early version with tape deck and its not working with my cd or make it break bcuz i reaaly dont know whats going on,

i spend like 200 $ speaker all the trouble to fix the radio and not the cd player dont work im getting crazy with this

If it was working until you replaced the speakers, chances are you have a short in one of your speaker connections. You would lose all sound if that happened. Check to make sure your wires are not touching each other or the basket of the speaker.
