WRX Wagon Sway bars....

Post by BAC5.2 »

Since the WRX Wagon is the same width as the GC Impreza (and our cars), the width of the GD Wagon's sway bars should be similar.

But are the bends the same? Would the GD Wagon sway bars fit a 92-94 Legacy?

I've got a good line on a set of sway bars, and I'm really curious if they'd work. Since the car doesn't drive, I can't drive the Legacy to the shop to compare, and I don't feel like taking the bars home, and finding out that they don't fit.

Anyone have any speculation?

Do you have a digital camera to take pictures of both installed to compare? I think the main issue would be the spare tire well and its effect on bar shape.

Hmm, that's a good point. I'll look online for a pic of a bar on a wagon.

It would be awesome if they worked!

GC8 bars do not fit, so I'd be surprised if WRX bars did.

But GC8 bars don't fit the WRX wagon...

Maybe I'll bring the rear bar home and compare to my stock one. If they work, I'll let people know. If they don't. I'll also let people know.
