Dave, did you check out the Joe P controller yet( I sent you the link). I
believe I am going to sell the Hallman I just got and get one of those
instead. They work the same way, it's just that the new Hallman has a
plastic adjusting knob to turn instead of an allen bolt( like his old ones
and the Joe P). I just prefer the allen bolt that's all. Although the new
one looks much less like something you'd pick up at the local hardware
store, I'm not into looks to much.
So, for any of you Legacy Turbo guys looking for a cheap, excellent
performing boost controller, I'm selling my two week old Hallman for $55
plus shipping. The only thing is that it is on my Galant VR4 so you *may*
need some extra vacumn line because I already cut the line to fit my Galant.
I'll give it a little while, then I'm posting it on the i-club.
BTW, you do not have to raise the boost just because you have a boost
controller. Even at the stock 8-9psi, the Hallman totally outperforms the
stock boost solenoid by far and you will feel a difference. And there is
already a "how-to" up at Dave's Turbo Centric! Any takers?

Crap! I just ordered an HBC from Busch!
I guess i could call and cancel the order if you'll send me yours,
that is unless you think the other one is better.

Dave, no, I don't think one is better then the other, judging by the web
site, they are practically identical. It's just that the newer version of
the Hallman is a bit "fancier" because it is coated black and has a plastic
adjusting knob to turn. The old Hallmans and the Joe P looks like some brass
fittings you would pick up at the hardware store and the adjuster is simply
an allen bolt, no knob to turn, but I prefer this style, that's all.
